Tonight’s slate is a little smaller than Tuesday’s but we still have good contests and we’ll be looking for a takedown! Someone has to catch up to Sheets and keep the TrueDFS’ winning ways going, as Sheets binked the flagship last night for a smooth $10,000.
My exposures on SaberSim are pretty spread out, but it took some playing around with the exposures and min uniques to get it that way. If I was running the sims straight “out of the box” SaberSim was keen to shove as much Dallas as possible. The Stars make sense and I want exposure to them, but I don’t want to get so over leveraged that I don’t get much else. After playing around with my exposures I still got to nearly half the portfolio of Dallas, but not as much in my main stacks. I also got to just about every other team on the slate with at least 20% exposure, short of the Capitals. Hopefully it’s not a Washington Capitals night because I only have 2-lineups with Caps stacks in my early build on DraftKings.
I was able to offset this a bit by getting solid exposure to the Capitals on FanDuel. I also made sure not to be overweight to Dallas on FD so that I can spread out my exposure a bit more. On FD, my highest owned stack is the Kings, then the Caps. I’ve got a bit of everyone there too, but nothing overwhelming.
The one tea, you are probably wondering about is the Avalanche. They’re the highest projected team but they are also bound to be owned at a high clip. The Sims always want to avoid these situations and offer leverage over the field I’m going to be underweight on the Avalanche, but I still will have around 20% exposure on both sites in the case the Avs go off.
