Today’s slate is pretty straightforward, especially if you played two days ago. The teams we’re getting to are exactly who we had in the first game of these Round 2 matchups. My highest exposed stack on DraftKings is the Edmonton Oilers. No complaints here. The Oilers have the top power play in the league, which makes the onslaught stacks of 5-man and even 6-mans pretty exciting. And sure enough, that’s exactly what SaberSim is spitting out. I am getting to some four mans of Edmonton, but I’m overwhelmingly finding myself landing on Edmonton onslaughts. Draisaitl is my highest exposed, followed by McDavid and Bouchard.
After the Oilers, I’m on the other side of that game with the favorite Las Vegas Golden Knights. I have a lot more Golden Knights four mans than I do onslaughts, but I still continue to get those big power play stacks here. The Golden Knights are the highest total on the slate, so no complaints about landing on a healthy dose of them either. My highest exposed players on the Golden Knights are actually the low-priced d-men like McNabb, and I have some spend downs with Howden at C. It’s a way to save salary and get access to some high totals. So while those guys won’t have as strong of ice time in the post season as they may see in the regular season, the value is still there.

Now, over on FanDuel for the DFS slate. It’s a similar story unless i make changes to my exposures or use uniques. The sims are getting me to be all over the Edmonton skaters. One catch, while I’m spread out at goalie on DraftKings, FanDuel is overhelming pointing to Logan Thompson as the right move in the crease. The good thing about it is it gives me some exposure to Washington’s positive outcomes. So if the Capitals win I’ll have a lot of options heading into the late swap window for the West Coast game.
